A long drive was involved in getting an air starting unit for DC-8s from Montreal to Windsor when jet service started there.
Air engineer Ed McAnany leaving Dorval airport on a 600 mile trip was given a send-off by, from left: Marc Bilodeau, John Kelly, Paul Gladysz, Andy Popiel and Gyula Lakatos.

Yukon Sourdough Rendezvous February 17 - 26, 1989. The annual high spirited, foot stompin' winter carnival known as Yukon Sourdough Rendezvous is a festival designed to thaw out the crustiest of sourdoughs, and to warm the hearts of any stranger to the North. To Yukoners, Rendezvous is a ritual. A time to shake off the dregs of winter and test ones speed and strength.
