. Found on the internet.
BALSA WOOD WINGING OVER THE ATLANTIC: We've seen a lot of far-fetched
aviation record attempts, but this one is new even to us. It seems a
group of Maryland model-plane enthusiasts are hoping to fly a remote-
controlled balsa-wood model across the Atlantic Ocean. Maynard Hill, a
retired Silver Spring, Md., aeronautical engineer, and his cohorts are
ready to go with an 11-pound, 6-foot-wingspan model airplane. The group
is in Newfoundland, awaiting the right winds and weather to launch from
Cape Spear on the Canadian peninsula -- the easternmost tip of North
America -- and land some 30 to 40 hours later in Ireland.

. Visiting Brazil?
Jane deVries an active employee at YEG Int'l airport customer service
agent. I have a strong connection in Brazil that has allowed me to put
together an incredible interline 8day8night tour starting in Rio deJaneiro
and visiting 3 cities. My connection and I will both
be on the tour and we have put together a web site for you to see the full
itenerary and booking procedures.
There is a high interest and it starts Oct 24-Nov 1 2002. I have been
to Brazil many times and have hosted Brazilian university students and have
remained very close to them. Because of this I have been able to put
together a deal that you couldn't possibly match if you went to Brazil on
your own.
On my behalf my Brazilian connection has secured pricing that is roughly
half of what it would normally be for the equivalent tour. The tour price
includes all meals, various
tours, entertainment/samba shows boat tours. all inclusive 5 star resort
and 4 star hotel, bus transportation to all destinations and more. AC flies
direct to Sao Paulo and Varig,Star Alliance member with low ZED fares to
Rio. There are many more options to get there.
Please check out our website at
www.brazilconnect.com
for a complete itenerary and Visa information.
