Tom Anderson, who recently had his email added to our growing list, sends us this his history - 'I joined Air Canada in 1973 in the Finance department in Montreal (PVM days) and retired in 1992. I spent the first 7 years working in the Finance department and then switched over to Technical Operations at Dorval. Most of the time there was spent in Supply and Stores providing all the spare parts and supplies to run the airline. When I retired we moved to just outside Ottawa (Carp), and a week ago moved to Dunrobin which is just north of Kanata (a suburb of Ottawa). We are enjoying it very much here in Ottawa and have recently been attending some of the local Pionair events'. We signed up with an internet provider last May and used the net to find accommodation in Paris and in Spain, where we spent 3 weeks in October. It turned out the reservations we made through the internet were fine and in fact for the villa we rented in Spain the booking agent was in Stoney Creek, Ontario. Most of the time in Spain was spent in Andalucia, Seville, Granada, Malaga etc with one week at a villa on the Costa del Sol at Nerja. We didn't have any problems getting accommodation, but I suppose it was the time of year October/November. The weather in Spain was terrific, only one day with some rain and the temperature 18 - 26 Celsius. Anyway that's it for now if anyone wants any info on Spain, drop me a line at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ~-=o0o=-~ . That's it for this time, please we need your input, send comments and email addresses of any others who may be interested to Vesta with a copy to Terry. -!- Landing on an Island in the Pacific. _____(~)_____ ! ! !
